Monday is a quiet club night in Munich and a busy one outside the clubs. The Chess in Munich Meetup group plays at Café am Beethovenplatz from the early evening, and ChessBar München holds its Monday rapid tournament at Boazn Bar beside the Ludwigsbrücke.

Two small clubs keep the day: Schachtreff Obermenzing meets in the parish hall of Leiden Christi, and Schachclub Lohhof 1950 at the Freizeitheim in Unterschleißheim. The FC Bayern chess department gives Monday as the evening at MEHLFELDs, a restaurant and stage in Guardinistraße, while the district register names a Friday at the Anton-Fingerle-Zentrum; its entry shows both, so check before you set off.
