School chess: groups for pupils only 4
About this list
The groups on this page are run in and for schools, and only their own pupils can take part. Each school has sent teams to the German school chess championships or carries the label Deutsche Schachschule: the Grundschule Garching-West, the Werner-Heisenberg-Gymnasium in Garching, the Gymnasium Kirchheim and the Gisela-Gymnasium in Schwabing.
Several of them are tied to club chess nearby: SC Garching 1980 trains young players at the Grundschule Garching-West, the Aschheim, Feldkirchen and Kirchheim club plays its club evenings in the Gymnasium Kirchheim, and the Werner-Heisenberg-Gymnasium has hosted the district's school team championship. A child who wants to play outside school will find the clubs under Training.
